I called at 6:40 PM and talked to a rep who listened patiently to my problem. I explained it wasn't an emergency. She scheduled me for the following afternoon. I received the USUAL fast service and excellent repair work on an aging garage door opener. The 'carriage" had deteriorated and broke loose from the track. The damage was immediately recognizable. The technician, Garreth, inspected the unit and gave me a FIX or REPLACE option with no SALES pressure. The decision was left entirely up to me. The work they've done for me in the past has always held up and I've never had to call them to come back to RE-DO a job. I highly recommend them.

Service Tech Tyler, listened carefully & patiently to my explanation of the opener problem. He then asked questions concerning various parts, such as age of springs and so forth. I told him the opener had one service call for a "coupler" but had never been properly service by a technician. I told him to do what he had to do to service it. When he was finished, he pointed out the obvious and not so obvious repairs that would be needed at MY discretion and time frame. I was in total agreement with his assessment and asked for an estimate. His service solved my opener problem and questions. Based on my experience today, I will highly recommend Precision.

I won't rate them yet because I'm still waiting for the install. Understand that installation was estimated at 3 - 5 weeks because of the Covid-19 issues, but haven't received any communications since the down payment on 6/8/2020. I'm ok with..hey we're still backed up ...or your door is not in yet..but let me know some sort of status.. right??? OK had to put a rating to post so I'll do a 5 Star because my tech was awesome... but I will re-rate when the installation happens....quality and timing will be considered.

Today it was a simple adjustment to opener motor that was done in less than 5 minutes. Previously, Precision Door technicians have replaced springs on both doors and performed routine maintenance. I had a broken drive and cables on my garage door. Service was very prompt and professional. The technician was most pleasant and started work promptly upon arrival. Very professional and prompt service, Nick called ahead about 15 minutes prior to arrival within the 2 hour window quoted by Precision. He fixed the problem in less than a half hour and didn't charge me since it only involved straightening out the style and putting a crossbar bracket across the width of the door. I was very appreciative of that and his assessment of my door which is a very low end model. I have since received an estimate and when the time is right Precision Door will be getting my business for the new one.
