Opener would not work 4 hrs after installation. For $1124, I would expect a complete set up of ALL options, including help setting up phone app. I have vertigo, and am not permitted on ladders, and when trying to set up my app, it says get ladder and go to your opener. I CAN"T.

Less than 4 years after the new garage doors were installed we needed a repair that cost almost $400. They did come out quickly to repair which I guess is good...

I am sorry you had to experience that so soon after the initial install. Most manufacturers only warranty their door parts for 3 years or less, which is why we offered an optional Lifetime Warranty upgrade on the parts, that also included the labor, on each of your door estimate proposals. Unfortunately, you chose to go with the manufacturers warranty on the door parts. The charge for the repair was $288.00 for the replacement of the cables and reset of the spring system, which would have been covered completely had you gone with our upgraded hardware for the charge of $300 per door when you made your original purchase. I'm glad we could at least get out to you quickly and get the door repaired. We value all of our customers, and hope that we can continue to be your garage door company in the future.

I paid $709.99 and my garage door opener isn’t working and told me that I have to do programming but safety t doesn’t work. Also I didn’t sign to pay but he did it himself. I don’t want that person to come here again. Is there a solutions?

Review:

The steel bracket that holds the bar that holds the spring broke and my door wouldn’t open. Steven was nice and very professional. He told me that I have one spring and it is Precision Door’s policy to have two springs at a cost of $300+. He said he couldn’t just replace the bracket as is. I declined service. I appreciated the fast response but my door is still broken

The installer's name was Kendall and he was friendly and knowlegable. Did a fine job. The only problem I had was the price. I thought 624.00 to install a new opener was way to pricey and the only reason I had him do it was because it was cold and snowy and my wife gets up at 3:30am to go to work and needed it now. This wasn't even a new install. It was a replacement so all the mounts and electric was already there. If it was summer I would have sent him on his way, gone to Lowes to get another one for around 200 bucks, and install it myself. Lowes sells that same keypad for $30.00 of which I was charged 65.00. Ebay has them for 20.00. Like I said the service was ok but the pricing was terrible and once the other opener goes bad (we had dual craftsman's I installed 20 yrs. ago) I won't be calling you again.
